The Town of Antigonish is announcing that the closure of Town Hall and the Public Works Building will be extended until further notice. The decision to extend these closures was based on directives set by the Province of Nova Scotia and public health officials on the continued spread of COVID-19.

The following statement is from Mayor Laurie Boucher, Warden Owen McCarron, Chief PJ Prosper and Dr. Kevin Wamsley on the importance of community during the uncertainty presented by COVID-19.

The Mayor and Warden wish to share the statement below to our community regarding COVID-19. 

The Town of Antigonish understands the growing concerns that residents may have regarding COVID-19, especially as it changes our daily routines and future plans.

An Open House on the topic of an Active Transportation corridor for Antigonish will take place on February 12th, 2020, at 6PM in Conference Room "A" of  St.F.X.'s Keating Centre. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
