The Town of Antigonish is advising residents of a water break in Brierly Brook.  

Users on the west side of Town (upper end of Hawthorne Street), including the neighboring Fringe area, may experience low to water pressure and discoloration until the repair is completed.  

The Town of Antigonish apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be advised the street lights at the intersection of Highland Drive and West Street are flashing red. As a result, motorists should treat this intersection as an all way stop until the lights are back in operation.

Please be advised the Town of Antigonish will be conducting survey work Wednesday, March 29, 2023 on West Street and St. Ninian Street beginning at 9 a.m.  

During this time, parking on the street will be restricted and traffic control measures will be in place.  

Motorists should expect delays throughout the day and are encouraged to use alternative routes where possible.  

The Town apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Town Electric Utility is advising residents of a pole replacement scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2023 on St. Ninian Street which will require a lane closure beginning at 9 a.m. until the work is complete.  

During this time, parking on the street will be restricted and traffic control measures will be in place.  

Please be advised the lane closure will impact traffic flow on St. Ninian Street, West Street, and Highland Drive.  

Motorists are asked to please use caution in these areas.  The Town apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
